Here are a few 2015 models that have been voted the safest, delivering better than average standard and optional safety features and receiving the highly coveted 5-stars on the NHTSA's frontal crash, side crash and rollover crash tests. The 2015 Mazda CX-5 in both FWD and AWD versions was named a 2014 Top Safety Pick Plus by the Insurance Institute For Highway Safety (IIHS) when it comes equipped with Mazda's Smart City Brake Support.
